Responsibilities:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the similar role
• Experience in joinery/cabinetry installation
• Ability to operate and maintain static machinery: Panel Saw, Edgebander, Drop Saw etc.
• Ability to perform site measure where/if  required
• A good eye for detail and pride in your work
• Competency in reading and understanding drawings
• Knowledge and experience of working with various materials (MDF, Particleboard, Pre-Finished board, laminates, acrylic, etc.
• Ability to organize and prioritise work
• Good problem-solving skills as well as an ability to work to deadlines & schedules
• A proven ability to produce high quality finishing work
• Punctuality, reliability & excellent communication skills are a must
• Be able to work unsupervised and have a passion for the job
• Be fit and healthy
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations
• Full driving license
• Cabinet making, assembling, and site installation
• Review drawings and produce quality work in an organized, timely manner
• Ensure that the work areas are clean and clear of unnecessary clutter

Qualifications & experience (ideally)

• Trade qualified as a Joiner or Cabinetmaker
• Excellent cabinetry and machinery skills with a high level of workmanship
• Able to work independently or in collaboration with the team
• The ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients and work well in a team environment
• Able to read/understand plans and carry out accurate site measures
• Possess a good work ethic and the ability to work to deadlines
• Site safe

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

All staff and customers are required to wear a mask, the collection is available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, vaccination requirements, etc.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Full Drivers License (Preferred)
